Biography
Anlan's research interests lie at the intersection between entrepreneurship and sustainable innovation. Her earlier research has primarily focused on the role of innovation in firms' sustainable operations and their adaptations to the external environment. Her recent research shifted towards investigating firm growth at different stages of entrepreneurship, such as the growth trajectories of international start-ups operating within the University Innovation and Entrepreneurial Ecosystem, the value proposition of SMEs and value creation in social enterprises in cultural and creative industries.
She has published in academic journals such as the Journal of Technology Transfer, the International Journal of Operations and Production Management and the International Journal of Production Economics. She has also been successful in securing research funding and served as Principal Investigator (PI) on multiple research projects.
Anlan works closely with business practitioners and values cross-disciplinary research collaboration. She is committed to producing high-quality research with visible impact, influencing policy and shaping future practices.
